Icy Day Notecards

During the night I could hear the sleet and ice falling on top of the snow that had fallen during the day.  I took the dog for a walk around 6:30 a.m. it was cold, windy and icy. My thoughts turned toward the cup of hot coffee I knew was waiting inside for me. During our walk I noticed that the trees were so beautiful, each limb and branch encrusted with ice. We finished our walk and the coffee was delicious!

A bit later the sun came out and the ice ladden trees were even more beautiful, shimmering in the sunlight and clinking together like huge windchimes! I got my camera and Shea (my dog) and I went back outside to take some pictures. From the pictures I took I decided to take two and make them into notecards which are pictured here.
